Book Activities

Book Activities

Books have been so important in shaping my life. They entertained me, acted as a stress reliever, and allowed me to learn both facts and other people's points of view. I wouldn't be me without books.

I want my kids to have a good relationship with books too. So we spend lots of time reading and even doing book-themed activities.

We started reading chapter books early on and we still do to this day for all the reasons stated HERE as well as just the enjoyment of reading!

We have also had to find some creative ways to encourage our kids as they began reading independently.

I hope you enjoy this ever growing list of book-themed activities, and even more importantly, I hope you enjoy reading the books with your kids!
